Halifax's Monday Night Football League saw an exciting set of matches last night with teams vying for their spot in the next season. With only two weeks left of the season, teams are fighting hard to secure their place in the top rankings, and last night's matches did not disappoint.

In the Premier League Division, Big Dos FC emerged as clear winners with a 7-2 victory against Powersheds FC. TAA Very Much and Fc Floppy played out a thrilling draw, with both teams scoring five goals each. Meanwhile, Calder V FC put in a dominant performance against Dodgy Knees FC, winning 21-2. EXPOSED NUGGETS FC and Fatboys played out a close contest, with Fatboys just edging it with a 7-6 victory.

In Division 1, Big Gas FC registered an impressive 8-4 win against The Minnows. Meanwhile, Pez Athletic narrowly beat Daddy Day Care 4-3. Diesel Rovers managed to secure a comfortable 9-5 win against Only Fools And Scorers, while Inky Jims FC could not stop Murder On Zidanes Floor, losing 7-3.

The leagues' top goal scorers are currently: Premier League Division's K. Smith from Calder V FC with 35 goals and Division 1's P. Johnson from Big Gas FC with 27 goals.
