In a sensational evening of football, the Halifax Monday 5-a-side league delivered its fair share of thrills and spills, as week 5 of the season came to a close yesterday. Some surprising results brought fierce competition in both the Premier League and Division 1.

In the Premier League, Only Fools And Scorers toppled the previously undefeated Fc Floppy with a resounding 6-1 victory. Pez Athletic also bested Pathetico Madrid with a 4-2 win, with the famed attacking prowess of the Pez squad coming to the fore. Calder V FC locked horns with TAA Very Much and emerged victorious, scoring 4 goals to their opponent's 2. The most exciting match of the evening was between EXPOSED NUGGETS FC and Powersheds FC. The latter clinched the win, ending the match at 6-4. However, despite the valiant efforts of all teams involved, the standout performers in the Premier League were Powersheds FC, leading the league with most goals scored in a single game.
