We were treated to an exciting round of fixtures in the Lichfield Monday Football League this week. All teams were in attendance as scheduled. We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always
In the Premier League, Barely Athletic and Pique Blinders went head-to-head in a scintillating 4-4 draw, while Out On Bale and Exeter Gently proved to be evenly matched, ending the game in a 2-2 draw. Yes Chef held APFC to a 1-1 stalemate. The night belonged to Inter Yanan, however, as they dominated their game against Show Me The Mane, ending in a 6-1 victory to become our early table toppers.
The action continued in Division 1, where MK Dongs fell to Colonel Getafe by 3 goals to 1. Dairy Milk FC put on a show with a 5-0 win over Slick Ricks Army, while Weasels managed to secure a solid 3-0 win against Ice Pack. Thursday Club emerged victorious against Finley Fiddlers with a 2-1 win.
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Murder On Zidanes Floor succumbed to Law Abiding Sigurdssons, losing 2-0. Inter Row Z and Sutton Sounders ended in a goalless draw. Marodinner triumphed over Special Olympiakos with a 4-1 win, and rounding off the division was Inter MaVan with a 4-1 win over Weegion.
