Lichfield Monday 6-a-side Football League: Week 9 Round-up

The Lichfield Monday 6-a-side Football League saw plenty of competitive action yesterday evening. We were delighted to welcome both Arden Forest FC and Ji Sung Park the bus FC to the league!
Starting with the Premier League, Thursday Club set the tone for the evening with a resounding 4-1 victory over Club Tropicana Drinks FC. The most thrilling match of the evening was undoubtedly between Arden Forest FC and Mere Green F, with Arden Forest edging it 5-4. Out on Bale made their presence known with a comprehensive 4-0 win over APFC. However, the highlight of the night was the nail-biting clash between SHOW ME THE MANE and Yes Chef, with Yes Chef clinching it 3-2.
Over in Division 1, MK Dongs fought valiantly but fell 2-1 to Perth Glory Hole. Slick Ricks Army dominated Baloteletubbies with a solid 3-0 result while Unathletico Madrid's 6-2 triumph over Special Olympiakos proved to be the most high-scoring match in the division. Colonel Getafe also wrapped up the night in style with a decisive 4-0 victory over Ji Sung Park The Bus FC.
Meanwhile, in Division 2, Pique Blinders took home the glory with a stunning 6-1 win against Shortbutts FC. The tightest game of the division was Parks Poachers' 3-2 victory over SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY. Behind Emery Lines and Bobcats Bombers ended in a 2-2 draw, while ICE PACK sealed a comfortable 5-0 triumph over Losing My Reguilon.
The top scorers for each division were as follows: Premier League's top scorer was Arden Forest FC with five goals, Division 1 saw Unathletico Madrid topping the charts with six goals, and Pique Blinders led the way in Division 2, also netting six goals.
