In the dramatic final week of the Lichfield Monday 6-a-side Football League, three teams have emerged victorious in their respective divisions - Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.
In the Premier League, Club Tropicana Drinks FC secured the victory over Yes Chef with an impressive 2-0 win. But the big story of the evening came from 'Out On Bale', who emerged as the overall winners of the Premier League Division. They concluded the season on a high note, with a total of 28 points and an outstanding 14 match wins.
Turning to Division 1, we witnessed a strong performance by Special Olympiakos who stormed to a 5-0 victory against Perth Glory Hole. Baloteletubbies suffered a defeat at the hands of Colonel Getafe who secured their place back in the big time, ending the match 0-3. The crowning glory in Division 1, however, went to Unathletico Madrid. With an impressive 22 points and 10 wins, they clinched the title for Division 1.
In Division 2, the most hotly contested match of the night was between league debutants '99 Problems But A Pitch Ain't One' and 'Pique Blinders', with the former clinching a close win with a scoreline of 2-1. 'Shortbutts FC' and 'ICE PACK' played out a goalless draw while team 'Losing My Reguilon' lost to 'SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY' in a high-scoring match, ending 2-7. But it was 'Pique Blinders' who, despite the night's defeat, emerged as the champions of Division 2 with a commendable 25 points and 12 wins.
