Play in the Lichfield Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the inaugural week of the new Lichfield Monday 6-a-side Football league season, teams across three divisions put on a thrilling display of football. 

In the Premier League, SHOW ME THE MANE got off to a flying start with a 4-3 victory over Pique Blinders. MK Dongs also triumphed in a 4-2 win over Colonel Getafe. Meanwhile, Out On Bale and Thursday Club showcased their evenly matched skills, resulting in a 4-4 draw. Issues FC had a rough start to the season with a 2-6 loss to Perth Glory Hole.

In Division 1, Parks Poachers demonstrated their dominance with a 4-0 win over Yes Chef. Bobcats Bombers narrowly triumphed over Slick Ricks Army, with a 1-0 victory. The match between ICE PACK and 99 Problems But A Pitch Ain't One ended in a stalemate, with neither team managing to find the back of the net.

Division 2 also witnessed some closely contested battles. Lichfield OSC managed to edge past SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY with a 2-1 win, while Tea And Busquets and Shortbutts FC ended their match with a 1-1 draw.

This week's results set a thrilling tone for the rest of the season, with every team striving to make their mark in the league. The next round of fixtures promises to be even more exciting as teams aim to establish their dominance early on.
