It was a brilliant round of action in our Tuesday league which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We were also delighted to welcome Demon Team to the league.
Ctrl Alt De Ligt are our league leaders as they kept up their 100% record with a hard fought 2-0 win over Silf Meducers.
Mk Dongs faced Wall Island FC in a nail-biting contest. Wall Island FC came out on top, scraping through with a slim margin of victory, finishing 4-3 to register back to back victories . The match was a testament to the competitive spirit of the league.
Meanwhile, an end to end contest between Bacon Mbappe and Lallana Rhoades finished in a 2-2 tie. Both teams displayed that they have what it takes to lead a title charge
A much improved performance from Lichfield Elite saw them beat league debutants Demon Team 8-0 to register their first victory
Despite the results, it's still early in the season, and there are many games left to play. The current league standings will definitely provide some motivation and food for thought for all teams as they prepare for the next week's games.
