Lichfield Tuesday's Football League kicked off in style this week, with teams from the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions showcasing impressive talent and competitive spirit on the field. We were delighted to welcome Special Olympiakos to our Lichfield Tuesday League!

In the Premier League division, the opening round set a high bar for the rest of the season. 34100 began their campaign with a thrilling 4-2 victory over Ctrl Alt De Ligt, signalling their intent for the league title early. Elsewhere, Special Olympiakos and Dadbods FC battled out a 1-1 draw, both teams displaying a robust defence that held throughout the match.In the performance of the evening, Snoop Udogie Dogg squeezed past current league champions Lichfield Elite with an impressive 3-2 win while Pukki Blinders clinched a 1-0 victory against Ladsio, demonstrating that every goal counts in this league.

In Division 1, Lallana Rhoades claimed the top spot with a commanding 7-0 win over Robben One Out, marking the biggest win of the opening week. Despite their defeat, Robben One Out showed resilience that could be pivotal later in the season. Alex Gilmore secured a 2-1 triumph against Bend Her Like Beckham, symbolising a promising start to their season. Harvey's Hair return to competitive action as normal from next week.

Division 2 witnessed a closely contested match between Tea And Busquets and Microphone UTD, with the latter securing a narrow 3-2 victory. Meanwhile, Demon Team demonstrated their skills with a 4-2 win over Class On Graass.
