In the latest week of the Guernsey Wednesday 6-a-side Football League, there were thrilling matches and high-scoring encounters that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

In the Premier League division, Les Green Mango FC showed their dominance with a 5-2 win over One Foot In The Grave. Baines On Toast, featuring the most valued player of the week, Luke Phillips, secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory against Substandard Liege, demonstrating why they are a force to be reckoned with. Meanwhile, Los Diablos trounced Too Many Flutes FC with a whopping 6-0 scoreline. Aztekkers also had a successful outing, defeating Ocorian Oddballs 5-1, while Class On Grass and Burnley Babes had a goalless draw.

A potent performance from Exeter Gently saw them defeat FC Augsburg 8-3, while Wasted Talent narrowly outperformed AFC Pornmouth 2-1. 2 Girls 1 Schlupp secured a 4-1 victory against Krul And The Gang.

The week’s top scorers were undoubtedly Egg Fried Reus in Division 1 and Exeter Gently in Division 2, both teams showing an extraordinary offensive display. In the Premier League, Los Diablos were the top scorers, keeping the pressure high on their rivals.
