Play in the Guernsey Wednesday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Sports enthusiasts were treated to an exhilarating week of football as the Guernsey Wednesday 6-a-side football league kicked off its season with thrilling matches across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2.

In the Premier League, football fanatics were treated to a goal-laden spectacle. Gash Galvanisers set the bar high with a 7-2 rout over Baines On Toast. Substandard Liege also showcased their prowess with a 4-1 victory over Pelé Galaxy CF. Too Many Flutes FC and KPxG engaged in a nail-biter, ending with KPxG taking home a 2-1 victory. Meanwhile, Bossolona and THE EGG left the crowd in suspense with a 3-3 draw, while Two Girls One Schlupp and Los Diablos also shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw.

Over in Division 1, Class On Grass stole the limelight with a dominant 7-3 victory over Valpys FC. Brentford Rejects blanked Sniffers 2-0, while Football Club FC narrowly edged Rocky FC 2-1. The crowd was also treated to a thrilling 4-3 encounter, in which Kroos Control emerged victorious over Jager Sinkers.

Division 2 saw Purple Reign making a powerful statement with a massive 10-0 victory over Liberate Pride. Egg Fried Reus clinched a close 2-1 win against Light The Matchy. Panos Babes impressed with a 5-1 victory over Super Hoops United, while EY VI took the laurels against AAFC with a 3-1 win. The division also saw a 2-2 draw between Only Put Matip In and Klopp Goes The Weasel FC.

As the season has just started, it's too early to predict the top scorers for each division. However, with the thrilling performances so far, football lovers are eagerly anticipating the next round of matches in the Guernsey Wednesday 6-a-side League.
