In the exhilarating world of grassroots football, we saw another action-packed week in the Guernsey Wednesday 6-a-side league, with teams across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 divisions battling it out on the field.

In the Premier League, the week's significant highlight was the electrifying clash between THE EGG and Two Girls One Schlupp, ending with a narrow 5-4 victory for THE EGG. In a stunning display of teamwork, Too Many Flutes FC trounced Baines On Toast 6-0, proving their dominance on the pitch.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Class On Grass demonstrated their superiority with a convincing 5-2 win over Football Club FC. However, the match of the week was One Foot In The Grave's thrilling 5-4 victory over Valpys FC, keeping fans on the edge until the final whistle.

Down in Division 2, Light The Matchy set the bar high, obliterating Liberate Pride with an astonishing 12-0 win. The AAFC also secured a clean sheet with a solid 2-0 victory against Only Put Matip In.

While we are yet to receive the official confirmation on the top scorers, early reports suggest Too Many Flutes FC and Light The Matchy are currently leading in the Premier League and Division 2 respectively. In Division 1, Class On Grass also seems to be a contender for the top scorer's spot.
