Play in the Lichfield Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

In the thrilling and much-anticipated start to the new season of the Lichfield Monday 6-a-side Football League, teams in the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 divisions battled it out. We were delighted to welcome Dude, where's my ladder to the leaague!

In the Premier League division, Out on Bale started strong with a narrow 1-0 victory over Drop It Like It's Slot. Lichelona also showed their championship ambition, dominating the Thursday Club with a decisive 4-0 win. Elsewhere, PHFC edged out Perth Glory Hole in a closely contested match that ended 1-0, while Colonel Getafe outplayed MK Dongs with a 2-0 victory.

In Division 1, Yes Chef displayed an imposing form, defeating ICE PACK with a resounding 4-0 scoreline. The match between SHOW ME THE MANE and Lichfield Blues OSC was a nail-biter, ending 2-1 in favor of SHOW ME THE MANE. However, the most impressive performance of the week came from Parks Poachers, who routed Pique Blinders 9-1.

Over in Division 2, The Grillbillies, Shortbutts FC, and SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY all recorded convincing victories over their respective opponents, with SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY's 7-4 victory over Murder on Zidanes Floor being a particular highlight.

The top scorers for each division were easily identifiable. In the Premier League, Lichelona led the pack. Over in Division 1, Parks Poachers shone with their relentless attacking display, while SHELFIELD WEDNESDAY topped the scoring charts in Division 2.
