Last night marked the action-packed week of highly-competitive at our Lichfield Tuesday 6-a-side football league.
In the Premier League, Dadbods FC stormed past Pukki Blinders with a remarkable 4-0 victory, demonstrating their unfaltering resolve. In another closely fought contest, 34100 outperformed league leaders Lichfield Elite, securing a 3-1 win to boost their title hopes. Lallana Rhoades also showcased their class, winning against Goggles FC in a high-scoring encounter that ended 5-3.
Division 1 witnessed equally enthralling matches. The Bridge Tavern triumphed over Alex Gilmore with a 3-1 victory. Meanwhile, Last Minute Legends, living up to their name, secured a last-minute 4-1 win against Barton Spartans FC. The most nail-biting showdown was between Class On Grass and Harveys Hair, with the former clinching victory in a 4-3 thriller.
Over in Division 2, Wade Street Wanderers edged past Johnny Bins with a narrow 2-1 victory, while Winless Wonders defeated Ladsio 2-0. Inter Yer Nan and Robben One Out played out an evenly contested 2-2 draw, highlighting the tight competition in the division. Tea and Busquets return to competitive action as normal next week.
