Bristol's highly anticipated 6-a-side football league made a triumphant return last night, marking the start of a promising new season. The competitive spirit, camaraderie and electrifying energy were evident as teams from the Premier League, Division 1 and Division 2 divisions made their mark.

In the Premier League, Toy Story FC outplayed Beercelona with a remarkable 3-1 victory. The Slumdog Brazilians also took the lead in a thrilling match against Doves FC, finishing 5-3. Only Kruls And Horses and Filton Wanderers each claimed 3-1 victories, defeating Dumblescore and Filton Offenders respectively.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Kundan Kali FC faced a tough defeat against Doves FC Reserves, ending the game at 0-4. Inter My Gran and Give Us A Goal Then both celebrated 2-0 victories, overpowering Fall From Grace and Gavin respectively.

The matches in Division 2 saw The Goblins narrowly lose to 40 Wan Bissaka 0-1, while Love You FC claimed a decisive victory over Trailblazer FC, finishing 5-2. Ivory Toast also edged out Give Us The Ball Then with a 2-1 victory.

The top scorers across each division, setting the bar high for the season, were Slumdog Brazilians (Premier League), Doves FC Reserves (Division 1) and Love You FC (Division 2).

As the season has just commenced, each team will be looking to build on their initial performances, aiming for both individual and collective improvement. With the competition across all three divisions at an all-time high, football fans can expect an exciting and highly competitive season.
