Play in the Margate Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Margate Monday 6-a-side Football league produced some explosive results as we hit the week 8 mark of the season. The grassroots football initiative has been a hub of talent across its four divisions, with only two weeks left in the season, the teams are vying to secure their places for the next season.

In Division 1, UTT FC delivered a brilliant performance defeating Expected Toulouse 4-1, while Finding Timo made short work of Wonkey Donkey Wanderers with a similar scoreline. Longhead FC wowed the crowd with a 7-0 victory over FC Bumders, solidifying their place at the top of the division.

Division 2 saw a thrilling draw between 2 Goals 1 Cup and Siggs Aside, both teams ending the game with 3 goals each. A close encounter between Tik Tak Tekkerz and Send Umtitis saw the latter edge out a victory 5-4. Interthepub FC rounded out the night with a solid 4-2 win against SAKA FAT Dijk FC.

Over in Division 3, Shi*house Athletic comfortably defeated Broadstairs Bumders 4-1. Jim'll 6 It outscored Granny Gobblers 9-1 in a one-sided match, while Evan Burgerson FC lost to FURYS 5-3 in a thrilling encounter.

In Division 4, a high-scoring match saw Crystal Phallus beat Minority FC 8-5. The Willows and Plough Town FC settled for a 3-3 draw, while INTER YERNAN defeated Murder On Zidanes Floor 3-1.

The top scorers for each division have been nothing short of phenomenal, contributing heavily to their team's success. In Division 1, UTT FC's striker led the charge, while Division 2's top-spot was claimed by Interthepub FC's forward. Division 3 saw an impressive performance from Jim'll 6 It's main man and Crystal Phallus' forward ruled the roost in Division 4.

With the season nearing its close, it's all to play for in the coming weeks. The teams will be looking to secure their places in the next season with some stellar performances. It's time for the players to lace up their boots and bring their A-game to the pitch!
