Play in the Margate Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

Thrilling football action unfolded in the Margate Monday 6-a-side Football League as teams faced off in week 9 of the season.

In Division 1, FURYS emerged victorious over Longhead FC in an exciting 3-1 match. The match was characterized by FURYS' controlled aggression and excellent teamwork, as they consistently outplayed Longhead FC. The latter, however, showed tremendous spirit. Meanwhile, in a high-scoring game, Send Um Reborn got the better of Don 6s in a nail-biting 6-4 victory, demonstrating a lethal combination of swift counter-attacks and solid defense.

Division 2 saw a dominant performance by SLT Franklins, who defeated Ketty Kent FC 4-1. SLT Franklins showcased some superb football, effectively utilising space and making the most of their opportunities in front of the goal.

In Division 3, it was a close call between 6 Shot Central and The Beatables, with the former managing to clinch a tight 2-1 win. Strokes Golf FC came out on top against Pockets with a 3-2 victory, in a game that had fans on the edge of their seats throughout.

In Division 4, Nandocas showed their class with a commanding 4-0 victory over Shrimpos VI, while Thanet Athletic FC managed to outplay Losin But Cruisin, securing a solid 4-1 win. Classic VI and Fall Guys, however, couldn't outdo each other, resulting in a 1-1 draw.

Top scorers of the week include FURYS' striker in Division 1, SLT Franklins' attacking midfielder in Division 2, 6 Shot Central's forward in Division 3 and Nandocas' star player in Division 4. Their respective performances were crucial in their teams' wins and they will be keen to maintain their scoring form through the remainder of the season.
