Wednesday night saw another good evening of football in our 6 a side league at Shafton ALC/Outwood Academy.

Man Like Stormzy continued their good start to the season with a 3 – 0 win over fellow high flyers Ardagh Unite with Rob the man of the match for Stormzy.

Bayern Bru’s improved form also continued as they beat Colonel Getafe 3 – 1 with Jamie B man of the match for Bayern Bru.

Grimey continue to top the table after beating Thurnscoe 5 – 0 and Grant receiving the referees man of the match.

D.S and Titans finished 0 – 0 with D.S goalkeeper Gavin Bamford in outstanding form to keep out the Titans and get the man of the match award.

LSD Eindhoven were 4 – 2 winners over Poggy FC in what was probably the game of the evening with Rich Dey getting the man of the match for Poggy.
