New Portchester Monday 6 a side season kicks off!

In the thrilling world of 6 a side Football, the Portchester Monday League kicked off its inaugural week, delivering a heated competition in Division 1. Teams and players alike came ready to compete, proving to both us and the opposition that they were ready after the break.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1 games, ST V2 outscored reigning champions Delph And Safety with an impressive 8-4 victory. The attacking prowess of ST V2 was evident as they continually exploited the defensive gaps of their opponents. However, Delph And Safety showed great resilience, and this is only the first week of the new season so plenty of time to bounce back.

Elsewhere, Hawkins Heros stunned Renal Madrid with a 5-2 victory. The Heros demonstrated their readiness for this season, presenting a strong challenge for the other teams in Division 1.

Another match saw a nail-biting battle between new teams Rangas and Leave My Arcelona, with the latter securing a win with a 7-6 finish. This match was a perfect testament to the high-level competition in Division 1.

Paxton Sixes faced a challenging match against Oldham Asthmatic, eventually falling 7-3. Despite the loss, Paxton Sixes showed promise and determination that could serve them well in the forthcoming matches.

The opening week also highlighted some standout performances, with the top scorer of Division 1 being Connor from Rangas. He demonstrated exceptional skill, netting 3 goals for his team.

The first week of the Portchester Monday Football League has set an exhilarating tone for the rest of the season. It is evident that the teams in Division 1 are ready to battle it out for the title. With the season just starting, we are eagerly looking forward to what the next week will bring.
