Portchester Thursday 6 a side news | WEEK 12

Portchester's Thursday Night Football League has once again brought a series of thrilling matches in both the Premier League and Division 1. In the Premier League, the competition was fierce as teams battled it out in their twelfth week of the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE
Sergio Gameos Lee managed a narrow victory over Marlon Packet with a 1-0 win, demonstrating their defensive prowess. Project Zeus, however, proved to be a formidable competitor, edging out The Six Offenders in a high-scoring match, 4-3.

But the highlight of the week in the Premier League was undoubtedly Havant Heavies’ 9-1 demolition of Cob Fc. The victory was, in large part, thanks to Mark Cotton, who stood out as the top scorer, putting four goals past the opposition single-handedly.

DIVISION ONE
Meanwhile, in Division 1, the action was no less intense. Real Madri secured a convincing 7-2 win over Munter Hunters, while Aldo Athletic triumphed over Pants in a closely fought 6-4 encounter. Swan Ballers FC remained resilient against Slops FC, taking a 2-1 victory.

The most intense match in Division 1 was between Bumfica and Cathys Crew, which ended in an 8-4 victory for Cathys Crew. However, the spotlight was stolen by Bumfica's Alfie McClean, who netted an impressive four goals, earning him the top scorer title for Division 1.

As the league continues, the competition remains fierce and the excitement only seems to increase. We are all looking forward to the next week's games!

A big thanks to the referees, we wouldn't be able to run this epic league without them!
