Portchester Thursday 6 a side season gets underway!

PORTCHESTER THURSDAY 6 A SIDE SEASON KICKS OFF!

Our Portchester Thursday Football League has officially begun its season with a thrilling week 1 filled with intense matches and impressive performances. The league, which features 6-a-side matches, witnessed the talents of various teams competing in the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2. Here's a look at the scores on the opening night:

PREMIER LEAGUE

In the Premier League, Skertals displayed their goal-scoring prowess in a thrilling 7-5 victory over AFC Purbrook. Champions Sergio Gameos Lee also showcased their dominance in an 8-1 triumph over BSC Hung Boys. Meanwhile, Lads On Toure and Happy Sunflowers engaged in a closely fought battle, with Happy Sunflowers securing a narrow 2-1 victory.

DIVISION ONE

Division 1 witnessed equally exciting encounters as Wallington secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Cob FC. The Six Offenders showcased their determination and skill in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Hallin Garden Services, with Rhys Muldrew leading the charge as the division's top scorer with a hat-trick. In another captivating match, Project Zeus triumphed 4-2 over Star & Garter FC.

DIVISION TWO

Division 2 did not fall short of excitement either, as Pup657 claimed a narrow 3-2 victory against Cross Keys FC. Matt Underwood of Pup657 became the division's top scorer, with a hat-trick. In another closely contested match, Netsix And Chill secured a thrilling 3-2 win over Pants.
