FOOTBALL FRENZY IN LINCOLN SUNDAY LEAGUE
The third week of the thrilling Lincoln Sunday 6-a-side Football League proved to be a competitive joust between all teams. With the stakes high, the victories were intense, and the losses hard fought.
In Division 1, Road 2 Copper triumphed over 29 SQN FC in a gruelling match with a final score of 3-2. The Cleaners, however, left no room for competition, sweeping Oldcastle UTD off their feet with a resounding 5-0 win. Geri-Hat-Tricks also displayed an exceptional performance, besting Fenerbackache 6-3.
Over in Division 2, Glass Ankles emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over Abcde Fc. Fat Dads & Adam managed to narrowly beat Rolling Back The Years 2-1 in a nail-biting finish.
Division 3 also witnessed its fair share of high-intensity matches. Unathletico Madrid was shown no mercy by Branston FC, who claimed a decisive 5-0 victory. Meanwhile, FC Barely Athletic put on an impressive show, overpowering Dynamo Dawsons 6-3.
