FOOTBALL FRENZY: LINCOLN SUNDAY LEAGUE HEATS UP IN WEEK 4

In the fourth week of the Lincoln Sunday 6 a side Football League, teams across three divisions clashed in a series of thrilling matches. In Division 1, 2, and 3, goals were flying in as the heated competition continued.

In Division 1, 29 SQN FC displayed an impressive performance, securing a 3-0 victory over Fenerbackache. Elsewhere, The Cleaners also managed to keep a clean sheet, winning 3-0 against Geri-Hat-Tricks. In the most goal-heavy match of the division, Road 2 Copper managed to outplay Oldcastle UTD, ending the game with a solid 4-1 victory.

Meanwhile, Division 2 saw Abcde FC narrowly defeat Bonking Bishops 1-0 in a tightly contested match, while Glass Ankles eked out a 2-1 win over Fat Dads & Adam, showing that every goal counts in this competitive division.

Division 3, on the other hand, witnessed some clear cut victories. Branston FC confidently claimed a 2-0 win against Dynamo Dawsons. However, the highlight of the division - and indeed the entire league - was the astonishing 9-1 victory of United We Stand over FC Barely Athletic. This match was a testament to the offensive prowess of United We Stand, making them the team to watch in the upcoming weeks.
