As the floodlights flickered on across the pitches last night, the highly-anticipated Birmingham Sunday League kicked off its season with a flurry of adrenaline-fuelled clashes. Each team in the divisions -- Premier League, Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3 -- displayed remarkable skills and determination, marking a promising start to the season.


The Premier League saw a high-scoring match between LMAFC and Chasers On Tour, with a commendable 12-7 win for LMAFC. Niall Rooney of LMAFC was a standout, netting four goals to emerge as the division's top scorer.


Most Valuable Player- Niall (LMAFC)

Division 1 was not short of action either. Mubarak FC showcased their dominance with a commanding 24-0 rout over Kante Fit My Willian. Rowan of Mubarak FC was the star of the show, netting an impressive nine goals.  Murder and Siuuu also scored big in their wins over Hawks and Real Madri

Most Valuable Players- Jamie (Murder) Roman (Murburak) and Charlie (Siuuuu)

In Division 2, Neville Wears Prada emerged victorious against Scorgasm FC with a 6-2 win. Their striker, George Hadley stole the spotlight by scoring six thunderous goals, winning the division's top scorer title of the week. Both newly promoted teams Pathetico and Top Shotters picked up wins in their Div2 debuts

Over in Division 3, Six Offenders clinched a 7-1 victory over Sporting Lesbian, with Joe, their forward, bagging three goals. His impressive performance contributed significantly to his team's victory, earning him the accolade of the division's top scorer. There was also a big win for Emile Spliff Rowe and a quality 4-4 between Huzzlsss and Sparta

The first week of the season has certainly set the stage for some scorching football action in the weeks to come.
