Abingdon Monday 5 a side end of season!

In a thrilling conclusion to week 14 of the Abingdon Monday Football League, teams from Division 1 - 4 battled it out one last time this season to secure victory for their teams.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, Pablo Escoballers came out on top with an impressive 23 points and 10 wins. They ended their season on a strong note, despite the fierce competition from teams such as RP FC and Only Put Matip In. The latter put forth a commendable performance last night, securing a 4-0 victory over RP FC. However, it was The Broad Beans who stole the show in Division 1, defeating Maradona Kebab 13-0.

DIVISION TWO

Over in Division 2, Bud Army proved to be the dominant force clinching the title with 22 points and 11 victories. They displayed their prowess in their last match against Klopps and Robbers, winning an astonishing 12-1. Notably, OJ UTD showed their resilience with a 3-0 triumph over Ruben Amorimjob but it was Expected Toulouse who secured the second promotion spot on goal difference.

DIVISION THREE

In Division 3, Tescos Finest emerged victorious with 22 points from 11 wins, Casuals secured the second promotion spot with a solid but nervy 2-0 win over Optek. The division witnessed a nail-biting clash between new team John Smiths Old Boys and Hardly Athletic, with the latter barely securing a win 4-3.

DIVISION FOUR

Lastly, Division 4 was ruled by Matty And The Colonisers, also with 22 points from 11 wins. Their last game against Bumfica ended in a 3-1 victory. However, the closest match in the division was between Survey Monkeys and Victor Moses Lawn, which ended in a 4-4 draw which was enough for Survey Monkeys to seal promotion. Other games saw AgeDoesntMata win 8-2 against Kante Be Stopped while Local Benchwarmers beat Ctrl Alt De Ligt 4-2.

Summing up the season, it was an exciting end to the Abingdon Monday Football League. The spirit and performances of the teams across all divisions were commendable.
