ABINGDON MONDAY 5 A SIDE RESULTS - MATCH DAY 14

It was another excellent night of 5 a side football at Tilsley Park yesterday as teams took to the pitches for round 14. As we approach the business end of the season there is still lots to play for down the divisions.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1 there were two cracking games, Osama showcased their offensive prowess with a 9-4 win over Anker United. Yet, it was leaders Cameroon Diaz's nail-biting 6-5 win over second place Egg Fried Reus that had us on the edge of our seats as Diaz edge towards sealing the title.

DIVISION TWO  

Division 2 had its share of surprises as well. Cunning Stunts dominated new team The Jefecitos with a 6-0 triumph while Only Put Matip In edged out Puyol Pants Down in a close 2-1 victory. Hardly Athletic beat Survey Monkeys with a 3-1 win. However, it was FC Unts that stole the show with an astounding 10-2 win over Goals Aloud which sends them back to the top of the league.

DIVISION THREE  

In Division 3, Adam Johnsons U9s delivered a solid 5-0 victory against Bumfica. Schofields U15s inflicted a crushing 15-3 defeat on His Mind FC, while leaders The Broad Beans kept a clean sheet with a 4-0 victory against Kick It In The Net-ics. Wenger Fun Stops Stop shocked Eze Top 3 with a 13-2 win over them while Expected Toulouse FC dominated Fiorentina Turner with a 9-0 win.

As the season continues, all eyes are on the dominant teams as they vie for the top spots in their respective divisions. With such exciting performances in the 14th week, the anticipation for the upcoming matches in the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football league is higher than ever.
