Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 16
In an exciting 16th week of the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side football league, teams from Divisions 1, 2, and 3 put on a spectacular display of skill and strategy. With only two weeks left of the season, the competition is heating up as teams secure their places in the tables.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, champions Cameroon Diaz outplayed Backstreet Moyes with a resounding 3-0 victory, showcasing their dominance in the league. Each goal was a testament to their coordinated offensive manoeuvres and impeccable defence, leaving their opponents with restricted opportunities to score.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 saw a series of nail-biting matches. Cunning Stunts narrowly defeated Only Put Matip In with a score of 1-0. The Jefecitos faced a tough loss against Intayanan, who hammered home 8 goals to their 3. Substandard Liege and Goals Aloud battled it out to a 4-4 draw in a thrilling game. Survey Monkeys fell to FC Unts in a match that ended 5-3, showcasing FC Unts' offensive prowess as they move to within touching distance of the title.
DIVISION THREE
In Division 3, Bumfica secured a robust victory over His Mind FC, scoring 5 goals to His Mind FC's 2. Adam Johnsons U9s eked out a win against Kick It In The Net-ics with a slim margin of 2-1 while Schofields U15s were overwhelmed by Eze Top 3, who put an astounding 11 goals past them. The Broad Beans netted 10 goals against Fiorentina Turner, culminating in a 10-2 win which sealed the Div 3 title for them, congratulations. Wrapping up the week, Expected Toulouse FC triumphed over Wenger Fun Stops Stop with a score of 5-1.
