In the week 4 of the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side football league, teams across Division 1, Division 2, Division 3 and Division 4 competed fiercely, displaying their skills on the pitch with some high-scoring matches.
DIVISION ONE
In Division 1, The Broad Beans lead the charge with an impressive 10-0 victory over Pathetico Madrid. Their remarkable performance put them in the spotlight as the top scorers in their division. Pablo Escoballers also displayed their prowess with a 6-3 triumph over Expected Toulouse FC. Despite a good fight, Only Put Matip In couldn't withstand the 2 In The Pink onslaught, succumbing to a 6-0 defeat.
DIVISION TWO
Division 2 witnessed numerous high-scoring games, with Inglorious Grasstards taking the crown as top scorers following a commanding 11-3 win over Cumnor All Stars. OJ UTD also showed supremacy with a 7-0 victory over Maradona Kebab. Tescos Finest edged out Parris Saint Oldman 5-3 in a closely contested match, while Cunning Stunts outperformed Casuals with 6-1.
DIVISION THREE
FC Unts emerged as the top scorers in Division 3 after a tight 7-5 win against Klopps And Robbers. The division also saw Matty And The Colonisers dominate Hardly Athletic with a 7-1 scoreline, and Real Sosobad just overcoming Xavi Dodgers 6-4. Ruben Amorimjob managed to scrape a 1-0 win against Survey Monkeys.
DIVISION FOUR
Division 4 had its share of excitement with Local Benchwarmers outshining Booky Boys FC 9-2, making them the top scorers in their division. Optek Utd also put up a great performance, defeating AgeDoesntMata 7-3. Kante Be Stopped took the win over Bumfica 5-2, while John Smiths Old Boys narrowly defeated Queens Park Strangers 2-1.
In summary, this week in the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side league saw fantastic matches. We are eagerly anticipating the next round of fixtures.
