Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 4

Football enthusiasts were treated to a thrilling spectacle in the fourth week of the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side league, with a slew of high-scoring matches and a few surprises thrown into the mix.

DIVISION ONE  

In Division 1, Royal Madrid triumphed over Pablo Escoballers 5-3 in a fast-paced encounter. Only Put Matip In also recorded an impressive 3-0 victory against The Broad Beans. However, the match of the week was undoubtedly The Six Offenders who trounced FC Unts 7-2, as they start to find their form.

DIVISION TWO

In Division 2, there were plentiful goals as Sons Of Pitches outclassed OJ UTD 9-4. Pathetico Madrid shut out Cunning Stunts 4-0 to go top, while Klopps And Robbers edged a thrilling match against Only Kruls And Horses 7-6.

DIVISION THREE

The action in Division 3 was equally as gripping, with Optek Utd and Local Benchwarmers sharing spoils in a 2-2 draw. Expected Toulouse FC narrowly beat Bud Army 2-1 to rise to the top of the division while His Mind FC triumphed over Tescos Finest 6-5 in a real nail-biter.

DIVISION FOUR

Over in Division 4, Ctrl Alt De Ligt and BarcaBoneHer settled for a 1-1 draw, while OBC Saints ran riot against Matty And The Colonisers with an astonishing 10-1 victory, making them the top scorers in the division. Xavi Dodgers also secured a comfortable 5-1 win over Casuals to move to the top.

DIVISION FIVE

Finally, in Division 5, Survey Monkeys outplayed Bumfica 3-1, while Guehi Pride lit up the division, racking up 9 goals against Ange Summers' 3, marking them as the division's top scorers. AgeDoesn'tMata were away this week so Hardly Athletic went top with a 5-0 win.

As the season progresses, competition is heating up and we can look forward to more exhilarating football action in the coming weeks.
