Abingdon Monday 5 a side news - match day 5

Excitement ran high in the fifth week of the Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football League as teams across four divisions battled it out on the pitch, showcasing exceptional talent and competitive spirit.

DIVISION ONE

In Division 1, The Broad Beans triumphed over Pablo Escoballers with a thrilling 6-4 victory to keep their 100% record in tact, while Expected Toulouse FC secured a narrow 3-2 win against Only Put Matip In. 

DIVISION TWO

The heat of Division 2 saw OJ UTD dominate Casuals with a 5-1 win, a testament to their on-field prowess. The high-scoring game of the evening was Inglorious Grasstards versus Tescos Finest, with the former pulling out a hard-fought 13-10 victory. Cunning Stunts and Cumnor All Stars had a close encounter, but Cunning Stunts managed to edge out the competition with a 5-3 result. 

DIVISION THREE

Over in Division 3, Hardly Athletic outplayed Ruben Amorimjob 2-1, followed by Survey Monkeys' slim 3-2 win over Real Sosobad. However, the biggest upset was FC Unts succumbing to Xavi Dodgers with a 7-3 scoreline. Matty And The Colonisers eked out a 2-1 win against Klopps And Robbers. 

DIVISION FOUR

In Division 4, Optek Utd defeated Queens Park Strangers 9-1, while Local Benchwarmers and AgeDoesntMata played out an evenly-fought 5-5 draw. Kante Be Stopped and Booky Boys FC also ended in a deadlock at 3-3. John Smiths Old Boys ended the night victorious, beating Bumfica 6-3. 

The Abingdon Monday 5-a-side Football League continues to deliver high-octane action, skilful play, and nail-biting finishes.
