Abingdon Monday 5 a side news New Season Kicks Off!

The fresh season of the Abingdon Monday Football League got off to a flying start last night, with a flurry of goals across all divisions. Teams from Division 1 through to Division 4 battled it out on the pitch in an action-packed evening that set the tone for the upcoming season.

Division 1
In Division 1, Cumnor All Stars emerged as the top scorers, beating Tescos Finest 8-3. The Broad Beans also racked up an impressive 4-1 victory over Casuals, while Pablo Escoballers edged a 4-3 win against OJ UTD. Expected Toulouse FC secured a 4-2 victory against Pathetico Madrid.

Division 2
In Division 2, Maradona Kebab took the title of top scorers in a decisive 7-0 victory over Wood A Lot, showcasing their attacking prowess. Real Sosobad also started the season on a high note, with a 5-0 win against Cunning Stunts. Optek Utd beat Only Put Matip In 6-1, setting a high bar for the rest of the season.

Division 3
Division 3 saw Raw Finishers and Matty And The Colonisers both record 3-2 victories, over Bumfica and FC Unts respectively. Who Ate All Depays also claimed a narrow 2-1 victory against AgeDoesntMata.

Division 4
In Division 4, Easy Pass FC stole the show with the highest score of the night, a whopping 13-1 win over Survey Monkeys. Hardly Athletic also put on a fantastic performance, beating Munter Hunters FC 10-2, while Mogged FC edged a tight 2-1 victory over Queens Park Strangers.

The opening week of season showcased some fantastic football and sets up what promises to be an enthralling season in all divisions of the Abingdon Monday Football League.
