End Of Season at Abingdon Monday 5 a side

Thank you to all our teams that have competed in our Abingdon Monday night 5 a side league at Tilsley Park this season. Also a big thank you to Dean for running the evening along with our referee's Ben, Matt, Ian and Tom, the league wouldn't run without these guys, even if you don't always agree with a decision haha.

Congratulations to our Premier League Champions Ivory Toast who retain their crown, topping the table by 5 points from our runners up Fruity Spartans. The Div 1 title goes to AB's All Whites who finish 6 points ahead of Kick It In The Net-ics. Div 1 has been especially frustrating this season due to a couple of gaps in the divisions and teams away so we will be restructuring the league for next season to remove any gaps.

The rest of the divisions have been full all season and Hardly Athletic were crowned Div 2 champions despite losing an epic match 7-6 on the final day to FC Unts who finish second. The Div 3 trophy goes to Scumbag FC who made it back to back titles after winning Div 4 last season, runners up spot goes to The Sticky Bandits who have had an excellent season too. Congratulations to The Village who had the perfect season in Div 4 winning all 10 of their games while scoring 96 goals in the process, they finished with a hard fought 5-4 win over runners up Expected Toulouse.

Thanks again to all involved, I will aim to get the new fixtures out by Thursday morning once I have confirmed with new teams. Once I know the exact number of teams I will look to restructure the league to fill the gaps in the Prem and Div 1.
