Leaders all win at Abingdon Monday 5 a side

It was match day 5 at our Abingdon Monday 5 a side league at Tisley Park last night. There was no change at the top of the table as the leading teams were all victorious.

We start in the Premier League where former title winners Cooper's Troopers gave themselves a little breathing space at the top as they beat second place Unprotected Cesc 10-7. The win takes Cooper's 4 points clear at the top, we then have 4 teams all on 6 points. Unlimited in third defeated Hadlands Rovers 8-6 while Fruity Spartans won 19-7 against Sporting Abeergut. In the other match Basically Barca picked up a points match win with Abingdonny's away.

Ivory Toast made it 5 wins in a row as they proved to strong for Hardly Athletic winning 14-4. Norfolk N Clue sit two points behind in second as they picked up a points match win. Murder On Zidane's Floor rose to third after a narrow 5-3 victory against FCUOB while Poortugal won 9-6 against Sevilla Depression.

Royal Madrid managed to maintain their 100% record in Div 2 but were pushed all the way by AB's All Whites, Madrid sealing the win 7-5 in the end. Substandard Liege stay a point behind as they won 4-2 against The Sticky Bandits while third place Expected Toulouse beat Cunning Stunts 8-3. The other game in the division was an absolute cracking as Only Put Matip In picked up their first win against Survey Monkey's 6-5.

Top Didcot Dawgs won again in Div 3 10-3 as they got the better of a determined Relegations Rovers who put in a valiant display against the league leaders. Second place Romania took on FC Unts in third and it proved close as the sides couldn't be separated with the final score level at 6-6. Sporting John moved up to 4th as they defeated The Reds 6-2 while Intayanan won a points match with Victor Moses Lawn away this week.
