Cowes Tuesday 6 a side news | WEEK 1

In the electrifying start to the new season of the Cowes Tuesday 6-a-side Football League, we saw some thrilling matches last night in both the Premier League and Division 1.

PREMIER LEAGUE
In the Premier League, Vectis Road Ultras kicked off their campaign on a positive note, clinching a narrow 1-0 win over Diddy Eh Drogba. Meanwhile, Obi Wan Iwobi made a strong statement with a 3-1 victory against Leaping Lords, thanks largely to a remarkable hat-trick from Liam Slaven, who leads the division as the top scorer so far. The third match was a closely fought contest between The Grill Gang and Mo's Salads, with the latter emerging victorious 2-1, courtesy of the week's most valued player, Ben Brodie.

DIVISION ONE
Switching over to Division 1, we saw Lads On Toure take a significant 6-3 win over Precise FC. A fantastic performance from Callum George, who netted four of the six goals, has propelled him to the top of the goal scoring charts in Division 1. Nonchalant also marked a notable 5-3 victory against GLM FC, while Khedira Pin Drop II started their season in great style with a 6-0 demolition of Just Put Matip In.

With the season just starting, we have witnessed incredible performances from all teams in both divisions. The players have already set high standards for what promises to be an enthralling season of football. Football enthusiasts have a lot to look forward to in the coming weeks, and we can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds.
